The inline fixed value attenuators are used to deliberately introduce attenuation in systems where high optical transmitter power would otherwise overload receiver equipment. The inline fixed value attenuator will be applied if the return loss is a key concern in the application or at the environment where plug attenuator cannot be placed. The attenuator can be supplied for singlemode applications in various lengths and terminated in most styles of connector.
